ALBANY BUSINESS REVIEW: MEDICAL MARIJUANA COMPANIES SELECTED IN NEW YORK GEAR UP TO SELL IN 2016
This year brought the conclusion of a prolonged process where the state selected five companies to implement a framework to sell medical marijuana to patients.
Those companies are set to have marijuana available at the beginning of 2016, but it’s been a long road to get there. The five businesses with authority to set up growing operations and five dispensaries were selected in July and had six months to get ready to sell.
